Jobs Queensland invited small businesses across the state to participate in online webinars to learn and gain skills in workforce planning.

These webinars showcased the benefits of workforce planning for small and medium-sized enterprises. Effective workforce planning is crucial for businesses seeking to overcome economic and labour market challenges. Participants were introduced to Jobs Queensland’s Workforce Planning Connect toolkit and workbook, which offer tangible support to undertake a workforce planning process.

Re-examining future work: The place of lifelong learning and preparing small business

This webinar provided overviews of Jobs Queensland’s Lifelong learning: The foundation of future work and Future work for small business: Skills, capabilities and potential report.

The webinar also examined how the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated and impacted some of the key themes and findings from Jobs Queensland’s 2019 report, Future work, future jobs: Preparing Queensland for the evolution of work.

As part of Queensland Small Business Month, Jobs Queensland hosted a number of webinars to support small and medium-sized businesses through the workforce planning process.

Future work, future jobs
