Strengthening Queensland’s NDIS workforce
PROJECT BACKGROUND
NDIS-related occupations continue to be some of the fastest growing occupations in Queensland. A strategic approach to NDIS market and workforce development is needed to support the significant social and economic benefits.
Jobs Queensland’s Strengthening Queensland’s NDIS Workforce reports, delivered in partnership with the Community Services Industry Alliance (CSIA), describe the research outcomes of the multi-year investigation of the workforce challenges and opportunities associated with the operation of the NDIS in Queensland.
These reports present data sets, trends, projections and information for the disability and community services sector on the growth of the NDIS and its workforce. In addition, the reports have industry recommendations and suggested actions for the upskilling, training and employment opportunities arising from NDIS funding.
The final report was released on 25 May 2023.
