Regional workforce planning projects

The delivery of the Townsville Workforce Development Plan project is a future opportunity under the Townsville City Deal and is being developed in partnership with Townsville City Council.

The Fraser Coast Blueprint 2018 delivers on Jobs Queensland’s commitment to collaborative, place-based approaches to regional workforce planning and development to support regions across Queensland.

Jobs Queensland is engaging the manufacturing industry and other relevant stakeholders in the region to coordinate a strategy that strengthens the relationship between the supply and demand for skills.

Jobs Queensland has developed a series of 13 place-based Regional Tourism Workforce Plans in consultation with tourism industry stakeholders around the state.

Jobs Queensland delivered the Queensland Tourism Workforce Plan 2017-20 in July 2017 following extensive consultation with industry and communities around Queensland.
