Anticipating Future Skills Series

Queenslanders need a reliable source of information on the jobs of the future to make informed decisions about their career, their business and future skills and training needs.

Our flagship project — the Anticipating Future Skills Series — is an authoritative, dynamic and evidence-based set of data, combining economic modelling and scenario planning to identify Queensland’s future skills needs.

You can use the Anticipating Future Skills data and insights for workforce planning, to identify regional jobs growth or to help you make decisions about your future careers. It also provides detailed employment projections to help you understand what Queensland’s future labour market might look like.

To help you find the information you need, we have developed a statewide overview, and region and industry profiles. You can also explore the data yourself using either the Data Portal or the Data Explorer
